Yeah I have been thinking about waiting until E3, given that the price of the PS3 is exceptionally high downunder (RRP $699 with Killzone 2).
I Don't know what to do about the BC situation though, I have plenty of PS2 games I want to play. Do you know personally or heard if the BC in the PS3 significantly improves the look of PS2 games? I'm sure the HD resolution of the PS3 would help?
Agree Unicron. The biggest downside of the PS3 for me is the BC issue. I'm in a predicament, my PS2 no longer reads disks, I want a PS3 but they don't have BC anymore. If I try and buy a 60gb BC version, then that costs the same as a new PS3 and 2 games...
I actually have the money now for a PS3, I don't know what avenue to take, any help would be appreciated.
So what extra content will actually be in the PS3 version?
Cause I'm still waiting for the Aus release on 360 which is due out in a couple of months. Don't know if it is worth it, if the PS3 Aus/EU version won't be out for another year?
That is good news, but how about a bloody EU/AUS release already...
Sounds gory :)
Offtopic: When the hell are other countries getting XNA games?
What a fascinating time period, I thought the first game was amazing, can't wait for this.
I agree. My GF and I actually play this together, it's a rare occurrence I must say. ;)
Who needs secret, subliminal mind control when they already control the masses out in the open for everyone to see (though people are blind to it)? It's called the media.
I'm sorry did he say worldwide PS2 price drop?
Sorry but Europe and Aus didn't get a price drop, Sony likes to take advantage of us Non Americans ;)
So when is this damn game coming out, longest translation period ever...?
Horray!!!!
Can I have some bubbles now ;)
I enjoyed your comment, up until the definitive "It's for Kids".
I disagree with that statement because obviously, I'm an adult and I enjoy the system. We are all going to like different games on various platforms, but to shoe-horn the DS into a 'Only for Kids' category because you as an adult don't enjoy the games is a little naive.
Anyway, my comment is all in good spirit, would be interested in hearing your reply.
Cheers
Damn, I hate PR speak as well.... :)
Well, if you re-read my statement though, it is technically the next-generation version of Red Faction in comparison to the older games ;)
Agree. The thing is, he knows how to work N4G. The problem is, when he actually tries to go legit, no one will pay attention anymore because he has no integrity.
I loved the old Red Faction games. I'm actually looking forward to this next gen version.
Did you read the article you fool, 2 of those games alone are on the Wii. You fail. :)
Ahhh What a terrible statement, shame on the ppl who are agreeing with it.
The DS is probably the greatest handheld of all time. The PSP does not have a 1/4 of the great games the DS does. Games for all ages.
I hate it when these PR guys make ridiculous comments and people lap it up.
I won't give my approval, only because this is sacrilege to the greatness that was BDZ...
The concept of 256 players is great, as someone else pointed out, the level design and objective based gameplay will have to be top-notch to sustain those types of numbers (which I'm sure it will be).
Cheers Patterson.
mm... now that causes a predicament...
The extra voice work sounds like a bonus but I have heard people complain about the voice acting?
The extra content story and sub-plot wise sounds great.
Extra character could be good.
Don't know if it will be worth the wait though, 360 in 2 months or wait for the PS3 version that could take 8-9 months...
